Workshop “Train the trainer" in Italy"Being a sensitive, if not a taboo topic, sexual harassment is a subject that is rarely approached in youth training and education. This is why in the field of our project #NOTME we developed the workshop “Train the trainer ``How to say no! Prevent gender based discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual assault!``: an innovative training which offered the participants not only the skills and knowledge on how to help young people to prevent gender inequalities, sexual harassment or assault, but also provided new tools and methods to reach youth, to lead discussions interactively, to support self-reflection and to create a safe and positive environment needed when approaching such a topic.
20 participants from all the 5 partner countries joined the workshop, which was held in Bologna on the 6th, 7th and 8th of March, where they benefited from peer learning and experience exchange in a multicultural and multilingual environment." First TPM in KlaipedaThe 23rd of June, 2022, after months of online meetings, the #NOTME team finally met in person in Klaipeda (Lithuania) for the first TPM of the project.
It was a true pleasure to discuss and brainstorm together on the next steps of our project. We are ready and eager to reach the first achievements and to share them with you! |
Our TPM in WismarOur 2023 started with a trip to cold Wismar, in the north of Germany, where all NOTME partners participated in the 3rd TPM of our project, hosted by @hochschule_wismar. Half way through our project, we analysed our achieved results: – Our assessment algorithm for measuring sexual harassment and assault – Our youth training package, including non formal activities to help the prevention of gender based discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual assault. Two more achievements are ahead of us and this meeting was the perfect occasion to discuss them and plan our next steps. Next location: Bologna! First Online MeetingOn the 7th of January 2022 the first meeting took place, unfortunately, through a Google Meet conversation. The partners had the possibility to present themselves. Asociatia Demetrius gave an overview of the project, assigning to each partner their responsibilities. We also discussed the organisation of the kick off meeting, which will take place, again online, the 9th of February.
