Let’s Act! is an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project coordinated by the Danish NGO Mundu and in which ELA is involved as partner organisation. Let’s Act! seeks to educate, motivate and enable students in creating a more sustainable world. We believe that reaching the young generations is key in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The project aims to raise students’ awareness about the Agenda 2030 on sustainable development and the role they play in meeting the SDGs by developing an open-access online SDG learning platform that will focus on the topic “Preserving the Planet”. Additionally, given the crucial role of teachers in this process, the project also aims to develop the training and tools needed for teachers to engage in blended and online learning in a meaningful way. |

What's going on in the project?
Teacher TrainingFrom 3rd to 7th of April the Let’s Act joint-staff training took place in Bologna! The event was aimed at reviewing and testing the activities developed in the Teacher Manual. The feedback gathered from partner teachers was extremely positive, as the Manual represented for them a handy and user-friendly tool to use the Let’s Act! Platform and to apply ICT tools and gamification in environmental teaching.
TPM in AarhusDuring the Transnational Partner Meeting held in Aarhus (Denmark) from 09th to 11th of November, the partners met to discuss the creation of the SDG learning platform and establish a framework of reference to use when creating the didactic material. It was also discussed a plan of action for the field research and a more detailed index of contents for the SDG platform manual for teachers.

Multiplier EventThe 3d of March we organised the dissemination event in Bologna. We presented the Let's Act learning platform and discussed about the importance of sustainability at school with teachers from 9 European countries.
Our guests had the possibility as one of the first to try the activities from the platform and they pre-registered for the live run of all presented material with their students in order to understand how they can use the platform for environmental learning in their classroom. Online Kick-off Meeting After several attempts to organize an on-site meeting, given the ongoing pandemic situation, the partners opted to organize the kickoff meeting online 6-7-8/09/2021.
In this occasion, partners established a protocol for communication, clarified roles and strategies for effective management, discussed the timeline of the project and started planning the activities to come in the next months. |
